Budachów and its surroundings on film. Sit back and watch the Anielskie Ogrody (Angel Gardens) and the forests around us. The films are in Polish.
Anielskie Ogrody through the lens of Jonathan Ramsey
Jonathan Ramsey, an American documentary filmmaker living in Warsaw, made a three-part series about Anielskie Ogrody in Budachów, the organic farm of Kamila and Bogdan Kasperski.
Part 1. An edible garden on poor soil. The secrets of Grandma Aniela
How do you grow enough vegetables on sandy Lubusz soil to feed a whole family all year round? Jonathan Ramsey tells the story of Kamila and Bogdan Kasperski, who left Warsaw in 2010 and turned their home garden into an award-winning organic farm. It is a story about permaculture, Grandma Aniela’s wisdom and the courage to start all over again.
Part 2. Permaculture vegetables and fruit in domes straight out of “The Martian”
Tomatoes, peppers and aubergines growing in domes that look like a base on Mars? In the second part we step inside the dome gardens and learn about an experiment with three-dimensional sound that imitates the buzz of pollinating insects. Watch it if you want to find out whether plants really can hear.
Part 3. Your own herbs and flowers
Kama shows you around the herb garden at Anielskie Ogrody and explains how the plants end up in the kitchen, the home medicine cabinet and natural cosmetics. It is a practical lesson for anyone who wants to start their own herb garden, even in a small space. After watching, you will surely want to plant something fragrant under your window.

Bytnica Forest District from above
Rise above the treetops and see the forests of the Bytnica Forest District the way birds see them. From the air you can best appreciate how far the green land around us stretches: pine woods, lakes and clearings all the way to the horizon. A few minutes are enough to make you long for a walk in these forests.
